Announcing Kevin Howard: Featured Musician at the Closing Celebration Brunch


We are thrilled to announce that Kevin Howard, the acclaimed National Recording Artist, will be the featured musician at this year’s Closing Celebration Brunch Conversation and Awards Presentation at the Prince George's Film Festival!

Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Kevin is a world-class keyboardist, writer, composer, and producer. His impressive accolades include being named Jazz Artist of the Year 2018 by the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, and he has received multiple awards, including three “Best Jazz Performer Awards” from WAMO and the WQED Harry Schwab Excellence in the Arts Award. Kevin recently toured with and was the musical director for jazz saxophone legend Ronnie Laws, also recorded and performed with saxophonist Marion Meadows, Norman Connors, Lonnie Liston Smith, Najee, and George Benson. In addition has shared the stage with Jonathan Butler, Cameo, Roy Ayers, Pieces of a Dream, Joe McBride and John Legend. 

Kevin's smooth, dynamic sound and infectious energy have made him a staple at prestigious venues like the legendary Blues Alley in Washington, D.C. His performances promise a tantalizing mix of passion and charisma, creating an unforgettable experience for all attendees.
